Michael DiNiscia is responsible for editing all Brainstorm
publications, ensuring not only that all text meets the highest
standards of English grammar but also that students of various skill
levels will be able to comprehend what they are reading.
Mr. DiNiscia brings to Nirut Chamsuwan Studios several years of
experience from the fields of education, publishing and international
affairs.
From 1994 through 1997, he worked with the Carnegie
Council on Ethics and International Affairs
where he served as a program associate in the education and
studies department as well as production editor of publications
and managing editor of the Council's curriculum development newsletter.
In 1998 Mr. DiNiscia joined the publishing division of the Council
on Foreign Relations where he worked on producing
custom textbooks under the Foreign Affairs magazine imprint.
He has been, most recently, special assistant to the chairman of
the National
Endowment for Democracy
and is now a senior advisor to the American
Ditchley Foundation. In this capacity, Mr. DiNiscia
has organized international conferences at the Ditchley Foundation
and the University of Oxford in England; serves as a speechwriter
and fundraiser for the former president of
New York University (NYU);
and is developing a new Center for the Study of the United States
Congress at NYU.
An avid traveler, Mr. DiNiscia toured Thailand extensively in June
of 2002 and plans to return in 2004.
Mr. DiNiscia earned a Bachelor of Arts in European history in 1994
and is currently a graduate student in international relations at
New York University.
Michael DiNiscia resides in New York City with his girlfriend, Christine,
and their cat, Max.
