The
"heart" of the Run saga, Toy is an exceptionally gifted young boy
who, along with his sister Kwan, finds himself thrust into a grand adventure.
In many ways, Toy is a typical ten year-old child: brash, impulsive, and reckless.
But he is also bright beyond his years and already exhibits exceptional leadership
instincts.
In school, Toy did not find himself challenged by his classes. Though he is
an excellent student, his boredom nevertheless led to clashes with his teachers.
This was often a result of his tendency to retreat into daydreams and fantasy;
Toy would much rather write imaginative stories or draw pictures about superheroes
and far off lands than concentrate on class lessons or homework.
