A prime directive of Nirut Chamsuwan Studios is to nurture new talent to enrich Thailand's cultural future. We hope to continually expand the studio to produce a wide range of publications and other products and services and have an "open door" policy regarding artist and writer submissions.

At present, we are actively seeking writers and artists to participate in the Thai Tales project. Nirut Chamsuwan Freelance is also building a network of domestic artists to be employed by the studio as needed on a per-commission basis.

If you are interested in joining this network, please contact us.

If you are interested in sending us examples of your work or proposals for the Thai Tales project, please follow these simple guidelines:

Artists:

- Please send a PHOTOCOPY of 5 to 10 pages of artwork on A4 paper. DO NOT send original artwork. No submissions will be returned and Nirut Chamsuwan Studios cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to original artwork.

- We recommend that your samples show as much variety as possible, but focus on your strengths.

- Thai Tales is primarily an illustrated storybook, so we are interested in artists who can express written word in pictures. While all types of artwork are welcome, it is best if you can demonstrate some sort of storytelling ability.

Writers:

- Please send us short proposals and, if possible, a resume.

- Thai Tales is an anthology, which means that the stories presented within its format will generally be short, self-contained stories or longer stories which can be divided into roughly 8 to 12 page segments. Please keep this in mind when composing your proposals.

General:

- Do not be intimidated if you have limited experience. We are more interested in good ideas and talent than an established body of work. We will work with you to develop your ideas/skills.

- If possible, include a cover letter telling us about yourself and why you would like to contribute to the Thai Tales project.

- By submitting, you acknowledge that Nirut Chamsuwan Studios Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries shall have no liability for submissions which are lost, destroyed or not returned. The submitter also agrees that Nirut Chamsuwan Studios Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries may already have in development projects with themes and/or ideas similar or identical to those contained in submissions and shall have no obligation to the submitter beyond those stated explicitly on written agreements between Nirut Chamsuwan Studios Co., Ltd. and the submitter.

If you are interested in developing your artistic skills and/or English proficiency through instruction by Nirut Chamsuwan Educational, keep an eye on our news page for updates on future seminars, courses and workshops or contact us directly with inquiries.
